This is a beautiful chalet and a big space! The amenities are very up to date, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The location is peaceful in a quaint town while still being very close to the main village of Les Menuires. Plus, the owner was very nice, helpful, and easy to communicate with. 10/10 would stay here again!
Wonderful place to stay, perfect set up for 3 families. The house is in a small village, its location is very convenient: less than 2 minutes by car from the very nice town of St Martin where the gondola starts and there are several good restaurants. Great modern decoration and well appointed with sauna and drying room for skiing gear. We found the host to be incredibly helpful, especially as we had not visited the three valleys area before.
Pros: Nice appartment in small village St Marcel. Very close to ski lifts. It`s spacious for a larger group, somewhere you must be careful about the lower ceilings. Sofa in dining room is comfy, so there is room for more people. Check-in/out on PIN, so very easy. Cons There was odor from bathrooms, it was dirty and stinky. Door handles and hardware on doors was a bit broken, so we were not able to close the door properly, on downstairs bathroom it was not possible to lock. Sauna is small for a taller people (180cm and more), so you are able only to sit or lay down with bent knees. Kitchen equipment was poor, pans without lid. Tefal set, which was obsolete, old. Knives were blunt. There was only one big pot, so if you are group of people, kitchen is not equipped for such a big group if you…
Dear Jan, it's a shame you did not mention any of this in the many exchanges we had during your stay or on your 5 star airbnb review. We could have send someone to check those points when you were there. In any case, we will certainly make the necessary arrangements if needed.
We stayed 8 nights at the Chalet. Our stay with 6 adults and 4 children was amazing. The Chalet has 4 bedrooms, 1 play room (can be used as bedroom) and 1 children room made of 2 bunk beds. The Chalet is well equipped and nicely decorated. Located in St Marcel, it is quiet and close from The Menuires. Will come back again!
Merci pour votre gentil commentaire Gilbert. Au plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau :)
