Hotel Bel Horizon à Les Belleville

Ramp start voor dit seizoen bij Bel Horizon, veel ontbrekende dranken, klein assortiment met ontbijt/diner. Kamer deels oke, mooi balkon met uitzicht maar badkamer heel erg onvoldoende. Service is ook erg ondermaats, al zijn de medewerkers als ze vrij zijn erg gezellig Ook nog een ochtend fijn met een extreem luid brandalarm de kamer afgejaagd, die werkt dus erg goed. Bleek wel loos alarm en dus voor niks wakker gemaakt... Zijn er dan nog plus punten? Ski in ski out, ligging van het hotel, en budget(maar nog steeds niet in verhouding kwa prijs/kwaliteit). Zit echt wel potentie in maar zal gemoderniseerd moeten worden en de organisatie moet echt beter.

A very unpleasant experience at Hotel Bel Horizon, We were staying at Hotel Bel Horizon with a large group of Dutch people during Dutch Week. Unfortunately, the week did not go as expected. We were subjected to racist behaviour by the staff on several occasions; the staff refused to serve us any further, they were constantly provoking our group, the owners were unwilling to help in any way, and the staff also refused to serve us from behind the bar. During breakfast, there were often not enough plates and cutlery available; when we raised this issue, we were not helped. The food was not fresh, it was raw, and the eggs were blue on the inside. This was one of the worst skiing holidays I’ve ever experienced. This was not due to the skiing resort but only because of the accommodation. The staff were rude! There weren’t enough plates for breakfast and they didn’t want to give us more. We just got ignored. The rooms were dirty, the food was not edible, the eggs were blue on the inside, they made fun of us because of our nationality, dinner was chaos, the fire alarm went off multiple times. Overall it was a horrible experience and I hope I can prevent people from going to this accommodation with this review. I must say I’ve been polite in this message.

Le stock ski donne directement sur les pistes. Les gens sont polyglottes et très accueillants

Okay, if you cherish convenience and location above all else, this is the place to come. We had half board and both breakfast and evening meals were well presented and delicious. Rooms are fairly basic but plenty of hot water for showers, comfortable beds anda great view. What more do you need.

Aan het hotel zeker niet parkeren! Je krijgt direct een boete. Toeristenbelasting is per kamer en niet vanaf 18 jaar ! Staat niet juist op voucher van sunweb. Superleuk dat je vlak aan de piste zit om te vertrekken. Half pension is het eten gewoon. (Prijs kwaliteit)

This is a budget hotel, so the rooms and food are basic. That said for the price we paid which included lift pass and ski hire it is excellent value. All of the staff were superb and could not do enough for us. It is also very conveniently placed with ski in/out to the door.

Great ski-in, ski-out location literally on the doorstep, which made everything really convenient. The staff were all super friendly and helpful especially Gabby in the restaurant, Elana at the front desk, and another team member called Klara (I think that was her name), who were all lovely throughout our stay. This is a budget hotel, so don’t expect luxury Courchevel 1850-style rooms. The rooms are tidy but on the small side, however, that’s fair for the price you pay. The food was average, but again reasonable considering the cost. Overall, the value for money is good and the staff really make the stay enjoyable. Couldn’t fault how friendly everyone was.

L’hôtel est bien situé, à proximité de la galerie et de plusieurs restaurants. La chambre était propre et donnait directement sur les pistes, ce qui est très appréciable. Les repas sont corrects, avec un choix de trois plats, même si ce n’est pas toujours adapté aux enfants. Le service est très agréable et attentionné. Le check-in et le check-out se sont parfaitement déroulés, tout s’est très bien passé. Le personnel est très agréable et disponible.

Voor alles behalve de locatie zou ik dit hotel vermijden. Kamers ondermaats naar inrichting, hygiëne en onderhoud. Opgelet in de 4 personen kamers slapen 2 personen in een stapelbed, wat niet aan te raden is als volwassene. Je moet smeken om vers bed en bad linnen. Kamers niet proper bij aankomst, worden tussendoor ook niet schoongemaakt. Was ons thans meermaals beloofd rechtstreeks en door sunweb na klachten. Ontbijt is basic maar kan erdoor behalve de koffie en de verschrikkelijk machine die enorme wachtrijen veroorzaakt. Maar het avondeten is echt horror, te vermijden zelf na enkele dagen zelf lachwekkend maar dan groen van miserie. Ronduit schandalig om zo kwaliteit en aanbod op tafel te zetten. Pour ma première à Val Thorens, je recommande fortement l’hôtel Bel Horizon. Le personnel était très agréable et le service toujours nickel. Petit point fort pour le billard et le babyfoot libre d’accès à l’étage. Merci à vous

Amazing location right in Val Thorens! Very friendly and welcoming staff, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The terrace has perfect sun exposure and is ideal for enjoying a drink after skiing. Also a lovely small bar that adds to the charm. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prachtige locatie. Je zit direct op de skipiste waardoor je niet met botten en latten moet sleuren, maar het eten was een regelrechte ramp. Het ontbijt was elke dag hetzelfde. Croissant, chocoladekoek, bruin of wit stokbrood. Elke dag dezelfde confituur. Elke dag eenzelfde soort cornflakes, elke dag of een gekookt ei of een omelet. Geen spek of dergelijke. Elke dag dezelfde 4 soorten beleg (ham, salami en 2 soorten kaas) geen fruitsalade of groenten aanwezig. Na 3 dagen had ik het echt gehad met het ontbijt. Het avondeten was ook rampzalig. Niks vers, alles is diepvries en als er op het menu geen groenten stond dan had je op het avondeten echt wel geen groenten. Ben ik te kritisch? Had a great stay at the bel horizon over new years. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always there to help with questions. The location was perfect. Could not fault it. Ski/boot room on the bottom floor and straight out onto the slopes. The views from the balcony in the rooms were beautiful. Close to bars/shops/restaurants which was very convenient. Rooms were basic but that all you need as we barely spent much time in there. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom has a bath which is great from when you’re feeling achey. The bedrooms were warm also. The rooms get cleans every other day. Fresh towels if needed and always topped up with toilet paper and bins emptied. Breakfast was good. Wat een leuk hotel op een fantastische ligging , uitzicht op de piste , en super vriendelijk personeel echt een aanrader , wij komen zeker nog terug

Hotel en kamers zijn gedateerd, het mag allemaal wat liefde gebruiken….echter, het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, de kamers waren schoon, bedden lagen goed en het eten was voor de prijs ( we hadden half pension), gewoon goed. Verwacht geen uitgebreid diner of ontbijt, maar het smaakte goed! Qua locatie lijkt mij duidelijk (👍🏻), ski-ruimte zou niet mijn keuze zijn. Ik heb altijd een slotje mee voor mijn spullen, je kan je materialen wel vastmaken.
