Appartement 11 très bien équipé, dommage que la baignoire balneo ait été en panne. Bonne localisation pour skieurs confirmés retour ski aux pieds ; pour les débutants, dépendance au tapis Castor et Polux. Pas de banc dans le local à ski qui est petit. Les chambres côté rue sont un peu bruyante (livraisons du matin et bruit dans le couloir partagé) une des chambres n’avait pas de fenêtre. Belle vue sur les pistes et petit balcon appréciable.

While the residence and apartments were lovely, we had a very frustrating experience with the management. We received an offer in mid-July, but when we confirmed a few days later, we were told the 10% discount had expired on July 15th. This deadline was not mentioned in the offer itself, only on their website. Management refused to honor the price and blamed us for not checking the site thoroughly. Great facilities, but very poor customer service and a lack of professional flexibility.

Situation au pied des pistes, appartement grand et lumineux.

We stayed as a friend group of 12 in the 12/14-person apartment (115m²). The apartment is cozy but quite compact, with smaller rooms than expected and limited ventilation in the bathrooms. Bedding and towels were basic in quality, though everything was clean on arrival. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped and worked well for group meals. A highlight is the patio with a great view, and the sauna functions properly, which is a nice bonus after skiing. The ski-in/ski-out access is convenient and works well. However, the ski storage area is quite small and not very practical -especially lacking benches for putting on ski boots. Overall, it’s a solid option for groups prioritizing value for money over space and luxury.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooie plek en fantastisch uitzicht. Hier en daar merk je wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar niks om je vakantie pret door te laten bederven. Zeker een aanrader voor wie een fijne plek zoekt in dit mooie gebied!

Fantastic appartments in the heart of Val Thorens. Great view, great flats, great services, easy & direct access to the slopes.

Hotel is clean but dated, staff are really good though. The evening meals are very weird in how they are presented, some of the food combinations are strange, but having said that the food is not horrible. The bar has some nice drinks. I would recommend the hotel though.

Amazing value for money for the high quality. The food is incredible and the rooms exactly what’s needed for a week away snowboarding. The staff are all brilliant and friendly. I will happily return here next time I’m in Val Thorens

Chambres sales, cheveux sur le linge de lit, poussière, pas de wi-fi, ce qui est inacceptable pour le prix payé. Les canalisations de la salle de bain sont bouchées, nous devons les déboucher nous-mêmes, car il n'y a personne à la réception le soir. Vaisselle sale, encore pleine de traces de fromage. Dégoûtant. Personnel désagréable. Dommage pour le superbe emplacement. Plus jamais.

Good value for money apartments near the centre of Val Thorens, with mountain views from apartment. Easy ski-in and ski-out, not far from supermarket, etc. Parking and wellness centre/pool are not in building but a reasonable 5-10 min walk away. Apartment space is liveable but what is advertised as up to 8 people is barely enough space for 6. But that is for most apartments in this part of the world. Definitely consider again.

Nous sommes extrêmement satisfaits de notre séjour au Val Chavière ! - La résidence est très accessible, au pied des pistes, y compris par les débutants et a une petite descente du point de départ de l'ESF ! - Les appartements sont propres et bien agencés. - Une attention particulière est donnée au calme et, malgré un groupe bruyant et irrespectueux au-dessus de notre appartement, les propriétaires ont veillé à faire respecter un grand calme à partir du début de soirée et nous avons passé de longues nuits extrêmement tranquilles ! Un grand merci à eux ! - Gros plus : le spa des Balcons accessible à moins de 10 min. Conclusion : nous reviendrons !!!

This was the best appartement we have in years. So big and so near de slopes and the shops. I really was glad to have such a good stay in Val thorens. Only by the ski lockers was it a little small for many gast on the same there and may be its an suggestion the place a little bank in the room before the lockers so its a little easyer to put on your boots. But we have enyoded our stay by Val Chavière and wy wil be back next year.

Residence au top. Très bon emplacement. Au pied des pistes et proche de l école de ski. Personnel très sympathique et réactif.

Fantastic stay at La Residence Le Val Chaviere over Easter. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 children and stayed in a 6-person apartment, so we had lots of room. The location is perfect, midway up Castor and Pollux and you can ski straight onto the slope. Our ski and boot store was right by the front door (Apt 1) so no getting changed in a crowded boot room. The apartment has one separate toilet, a bathroom with a sink, spa bath and handheld shower attachment, and another bathroom with a sink and walk in shower. A double bedroom with wardrobe, a twin with wardrobe (twin beds can push together to make a more spacious double) and a small twin without storage (we used one of the beds to store clothes on). The kitchen has a large fridge with a small freezer compartment, a dishwasher, filter…

The location is great, could do with a boot room. However, the evening meal was poor quality and cold. One evening we went out for dinner because of the quality and amount of food. You have choice don’t use this hotel.
